Centurions of the 13th Legion! Romans! Today we honor one of our very own! Today we honor the 1st Cohort of The 13th Legion Daywalker01!!!!! I shall read to you from our State of the Empire 2023 address..........
Friends! Romans! Countrymen! Centurions! Cohorts of the 13th Legion! It is with a heavy heart that I stand before you now. We have gone 7 long years without real communication. In those years we have grown distant and unfamiliar. Some of us have forgotten our Roman ways and traditions! Some of us have fallen in foreign lands where no one is there to properly morn them. Some of us have found hollow joy in fame and fortune. Mars laughs at the fortune seekers who in their folly chase fame and fortune without giving the War god his bowl of blood, their time will come...…. But, I say to you now. Let, the sunset on the last 7 years! I 'am filled with joy and promise! I have been renewed, the yolk (It's hard to sit behind a computer and play chess with you guys when my family needed things. In the real world I'm a husband and father of two. So, I had to put down my gladius and put in more hours at work and find a new job.) the goddess Fortuna placed on me has been lifted. As I look upon you all standing on the Field of Mars, I see the 1st Cohort of this legion, Daywalker01! Those of us who stand here now owe him a debt of gratitude! In my absence 1st Cohort Daywalker01 had in his possession the official Imperator seal of the Legions! With this seal he could have decimated our already depleted ranks and sacked our undefended city and taking power for himself. 1st Cohort Daywalker01 along with a good number of you standing here today stood on the walls of Rome and defended her against the jackals at her gates! When, I was suffering the yolk of Fortuna messengers would carry p.m.'s of hope to me from a lot of you Centurions standing here today! I have heard you! I see 1st Cohort Daywalker01! I am here! I am Stormbringer, Imperator of the Legos of Rome , General of the 13th Roman Legion! And we shall again march across the chess.com landscape and all shall tremble with fear in our wake!
