The idea behind this is that this will be a continuing league, based on the principles of a football league. The bottom 3 players at the end will be relegated, and replaced by the top 3 players from 'the elite league' - which is another 12 player competition already running.
This should make perfect sense to anybody who follows footy. It should be exciting whether you're battling for the title or in a relegation dog-fight!
So, if you've always wanted to "do a Leicester"... now's your chance!
Vacation time is allowed and it's 3 days per move. However, to keep the 'football league' feel all players are asked to try and keep pace with their games, so that all players have completed roughly the same amount of games at the same time. Anyone who falls massively behind might find themselves being relegated on the "life's too short" rule!
