This tournament explores the Alapin Sicilian, 1. e4 c5 2. c3. Whether you're learning to play (or play against) the Alapin, or you're an experienced hand at this subtle way to handle the Sicilian, please join our tournament, learn, and have a great time with us!
Help me cover for my mistake please!
I apologize again for failing to set up the tournament correctly. I should have fixed the starting position to 1. e4 c5 2. c3, the so-called Alapin Sicilian.
Since I failed to do that it is possible to start the game in other ways. Please help me cover for my mistake and play those three half-moves to start each game! People joined this tournament because they wanted to play games in the Alapin, and I'm hoping everyone gets the experience they're looking for!
Thanks, and best of luck!
