If you sing,  play, or write music please join and invite the musicians you have met on chess.com to join as well.  We hope to share stories of interest.  Rather than having a narrow focus for Brass, Strings, Woodwind or Percussion we want a more general theme that includes Voice, all instruments, conductors, writers, performers, famous and the almost famous.

Software Testing

RB65230 | Jan 5, 2015, 9:52 AM

I have asked Raidion to help me with a test case, to see if it is possible to remove a player from the tournament after his round 1 games are finished and before round 2 begins.  Raidion is helping so please dont bother him about his last game being slow.  I have asked him to slow it down so there is a day when Raidions game is the last in round 1.

Happy New Year

Have fun today and this week end!

I was wrong

RB65230 | Dec 31, 2014, 9:17 AM

I regret my previous announcement; as TD I cannot remove a player from a tournament while they have an active game in progress.  And so round 2 will not begin New Years day as hoped.  All a TD can do is ensure that autostart is not set, then remove players at start of match we dont choose to play with or set up the match so as to filter out those that take too long to play.  It seems possible to remove someone after they complete their games, but since his game would be the last of round one, round two would begin as soon as his last game concludes.

Slow Play

RB65230 | Dec 30, 2014, 8:30 PM

Round 2 is going to start some time on New Years Day, one way or another so the three remaining games must finish soon or the slow players will be removed from the tournament.
