This is a "No Vacation" tournament!
Outback - Super1700 
Standard chess tournament with 3 days per move, which does not allow participants to use vacation time. It is intended for players rated up to 1700. There are 117 available spots. Participants will be randomly divided into groups of 3 players. Each player will play two simultaneous games with black and white pieces against each one of the members of their group (Round-Robin Knock-Out tournament). The top player in each group will advance to the next stage of the competition, and chess.com, according to its own criteria, will be in charge of the reorganization of the groups. The tournament will start when 117 players sign up and fill all the spots. Enjoy it!
In 2019, Super1700 will offer two clubs tournaments. The first one will take place from January to May, being of chess 960; the second one, from June to December, being of standard chess. Both of them are intended for players rated up to 1700. This clubs league was conceived to offer players who sometimes did not have a board in other competitions such as TMCL, TMCL960, EL and WL an opportunity to compete in style. Stay tuned!
