There will be a new tournament for each month. The top 3 players from each month will be invited to the Perpetual Invitation Series starting in 2023 after all the monthlies finish (That will not be an under 750 tournament.)
This tournament starts January 1 after I wake up in the morning.
If you're new here you might your starting rank is 800, just play a few daily games and you'll get under 750. :- )
No vacation. You must be under a 750 ranking to start and have played 5 games. I will eject previous top three of any of my 2021 Perpetual Noob series. ( You're already in the final, you don't need this one.)
Note: I will not eject you if you place in the top three of a previous monthly tournament after this one has started.
Perpetual Monthly Final is almost here
(I'm sorry if you see this more than once, that just means you were in more than one of my Perpetual Noob tournaments.)
Congratulations to the following players, they have advanced to the final round!
CaptCloyd, Darius_Holman, davidpwest, djdanidu, dolanocp, DopeFrivolity, durnster92, Eylima, fionaruthw, FoxyStand, jellevanderree, JohnWooldridge1965, khusainov_a , LaMolla, Loveea, mateuszszp, MedicMonty, Minori_001, Mitchr415, nickl18, palelikemoon, patwoes, Pepin1224, philsbirds, psysteve, RadeonJ, Ramlevel3, Robstorm1 , RRH1988, saravanaub, shandydann, shibainuwan -- start here, Sir_Jonas_1st, susstar24, Szeniu, VuokkoVuorinnen, Wolverine0823, yurii_m,
Two players should have advanced but are not "noobs" in my opinion. I'll not name them but they can contact me and try to change my mind.
You may be surprised to see yourself on this list since you didn't finish in the top three. That's because someone who had finished above you had already made the finals, so I looked at 4th, 5th place finishes etc...
The November Noob tournament is still ongoing but it is down to 4 people, 2 of which had already made the Finals, so I just grabbed the top names to get the word out early.
I will not start the Final until the November Noob tournament is over. This permits those players to not have to play the same person twice at the same time. (I personally hate doing that, I find it confusing.)
You'll get invited to the tournament and a message from me telling you that you can accept the invitation. In the past there has been an enormous drop out rate, I'm not sure why, maybe the invites go to a spam mailbox or something. So I'll message you all directly.

the player on vacation
I've been working with chess.com support. They did clear the vacation error that the one player was experiencing. There is one more game, a new game, for that player. It expires in about 7 hours. So hopefully you'll all be able to resume play later on today (or tomorrow if it is evening for you in your time zone.) Good luck and thank you for your patience.
the player on vacation
I'm not sure what is going on. The player on vacation should have run out of vacation time today. I've seen the counter go to 1 minute and then it resets to either 1 hour or 4 hours.
I can't eject them either, I get an error "You are not permitted to withdraw a player who has unfinished games."
I'll try and see if chess.com has a support option or something.
April starts tomorrow

Almost there!
The player in question has only 4 vacation days left so you all get to resume play soon. Note, they have a second game they've not started so it will be 5 days.
