The original San Sebastián tournament took place in 1911. The event was organised by Jacques Mieses and won by Jose Capablanca.

This is the Third Major Internal Club Tournament of the year. Open to all ratings at the club, to determine the 'San Sebastien' Tournament Champion 2023. 

This invitation is extended to all 'Club Capablanca' Members Only.

The tournament will be a straight Knockout. All members will be sent a link through the bottom of this announcement and will have 7 days to respond to the invite upon which the Tournament will begin.  Tournament entry requires no more than 25% timeout and a minimum of 20 daily matches played.

Please be aware, if you don't fit the parameters of the tournament you will be removed automatically at the start of the competition. There are no exceptions to this. This Tournament is scheduled to start Saturday 3rd June 2023 (GMT)

 'SAN SEBASTIEN TOURNAMNET '  - Open Rating Range Straight Knock/out 

 You will play 2 games at the same time (one as Black, one as White per opponent) at a control of one day per move in groups of 2 players. Only the top 1 will advance.
