Scottish kings have been a bit lazy in 2010 
, 2011 is going to be different!!
I want everyone that is a member to get involved and embrace the “team”. WE are still all about the fun and learning and not all about the win.
There have been several team matches with a poor turnout of players 
; there are names on the members list that are never seen in any team matches. While I appreciate that not everyone can join all the matches that are created it would be good to offer good matches to other teams that agree to play us. This is the same with a few of the “team” tournaments, one of which got 10 players turn out. Not everyone is a premium member and as such can only join a limited number of tournaments; this only affects a very small number of members

I have taken the decision to introduce the follow rules:
All members must be flying the Scottish flag or have some kind Allegiance to Scotland
No member can have more than a 10% time out
Members must get involved in team activities; I don’t want a team of 65 when really we are only 10 strong! This does not mean every game, but there are names on the list that never play with the team.
No rating hunters allowed. Must be open to playing everyone, if there rating is lower than you, you should beat them, no avoiding!!

I understand that this new approach to the team will lead to some members leaving the team and others being removed, I wish those players all the best.
There are several members that are members of other teams please feel free to ask other like mind people to join our team, just get them to drop one of the admins a message. The same applies to games if anyone has any ideas on teams to challenge or tournament ideas just drop me a message.
I hope we can get the team back on track and get some fun games played.
I am going to be taking the roll of Organising more team matches and getting some tournaments set up, I will be getting one of the other admin to look at getting vote chess running as this will allow everyone to improve and look the game form others player point of view.
