Thank you everyone for joining, and have fun!

We will start soon!

Note: Vacation is allowed.

Additional info:

How does it Work?

Basically, how this will work is, as much players as we can get, we will get. After I start the tournament, players will be split into groups of 5 and the games will start.

Amount of People Advancing Per Group:
2 players will advance per group. If you don’t make it through, don’t worry—you’ll still be recognized for your active participation!

R.R. (rating range): <1200 Elo

The Time-Out Ratio refers to the percentage of games a player can time out without facing penalties.

  • Maximum Timeout Percentage: Players are allowed to time out in up to 30% of their games throughout the tournament.
  • Time-Outs: A game is considered timed-out when a player runs out of time during the course of the game. If this happens for more than 30% of a player's games, that player may be disqualified from the tournament and will not be eligible for final recognition.

Note: If a player times out in fewer than 30% of their games, they can still participate and be eligible for recognition. However, if the player violates other tournament guidelines or repeatedly times out without making an effort to complete games, further action may be taken.

Time-Out Penalties:

Players who time out all their games or fail to follow tournament guidelines will not be eligible for final recognition and/or will be disqualified.

For those who finish on the podium:

You should automatically receive an award from my account that the computer automatically generates, but I'll also send you one with a note.

In the event that I (TD) finish on the podium:

Should I place on the podium, I will step aside to allow the player who finishes 4th to take 3rd place. To recognize their achievement, I’ll personally send them an award, as every player’s participation and effort deserves to be celebrated.

Enjoy the tournament and good luck!
