This is a "No Vacation" tournament!
It is a rated, thematic tournement. The theme of this competition is D32: Tarrasch Defense, opening moves are
1. d4 d5
2. c4 e6
3. Nc3 c5
This interesting position was deeply analysed and widely used by Dr. Siegbert Tarrasch, this opening allows black for an active play from very early stage of the game.
Tournament is open to all players. Additionally, in order to register You have to have 10 games finished and Your timeouts ratio has to be below 10%.
Tournament settings are:
- 3 days/move
- Groups of 5
- Total of 100 players
- Two players advance per group
- 1 concurrent game per opponent (~ 4 games at the same time)
- Standard chess with the opening theme being the Tarrasch Defense
- AUTO-START, tournament starts when registration is full
- Vacation time is NOT ALLOWED
