This is a "No Vacation" tournament!
Compete for the coveted 1st, 2nd & 3rd place trophy in remembrance of Sir Piglet 
who saved King Pooh's kingdom (A Knight to Remember) from a dreaded dragon! Will you be the next great knight(ess) in the kingdom? This chess tournament begins with 32 prospective men/women of valor placed In groups of 4 with each player competing against the three other, each player playing white & black. This will mean that 6 simultaneous games will be played for each round (3 players x 2 games each (one with white pieces & one with the black pieces)=6 games. Please leave enough time to accommodate 6 simultaneous games, at 5 days/move. Out of each group of 4 players, the two with the highest score will advance to the next round until the final group of four will determine the most valiant! The tournament will begin automatically when 32 players have joined. "I luv hunny...and chess!" [A little side note concerning the trophies' value in USD NOTE: These are just VIRTUAL trophies and USD amounts-If you win a trophy it will go into your trophy section: 1st place Pooh=around $400 USD; 2nd place Tigger=around $300 USD; 3rd place Piglet=around $130 USD]

So, "The First Winnie the Pooh Loves Honey & Chess Open" has been concluded. An interesting placement of trophies at the end. There were two First Place finishers, two Second Place finishers and one Third Place finisher. The top 12 players in the standings received points. Round 5-Last Round
Congrats to igorokruzhnoi & andrewLLLL, the winners of their respective groups in round 4, who have made it to the last round-Round 5. This round will determine who gets first and second place. Thanks all for hanging in there. I know these tournaments can take quite a long time to conclude.
Round 4 Starts
Congrats to the players that moved into Round 4 and for all those players that have participated throughout the tournament! Round 4 is getting down to the nitty gritty so best of luck/fortune to the participants! I think that the top two in each group will advance to the final round so hang tough everybody!
Note on 5/31/23. It turned out the winners from each group in round 4 advances to the next round-round 5. So we have two players going head-to-head for first and second prize.
