Hey my friends, you´re invited to celebrate the King´s Gambit in the fighting spirit of Morphy, Anderssen, Spassky and Nakamura! The King´s Gambit has been declared unsound at the very highest level, but for us punters it´s still a magnificent field for open play, devious tactics and spectacular sacrifices. There are custom trophies for the winners.
The tournament will start when the max of 64 players is reached; 2 players from each group of 4 will advance to the next round.

IMPORTANT - the starting position which I´d given was removed when I edited one of the other settings, sorry! So please just start with 1.e4 e5 2.f4; the rest is up to you!
(I shall control the openings like a hawk; anybody playing anything else will be kicked unmercifully and has no chance of a trophy!
