Sequel to the original open tournament of my custom chess position "Ral's Trapped Kings Variant" which can be seen here: https://www.chess.com/tournament/rals-trapped-kings-variant
Note that the position was altered slightly with the removal of the a2 and h7 pawns from the original position. This was done to make the rooks on a1 and h8 more free, thus increasing the complexity of the position, allowing more strategies to be used. This will be the version of this position used going forward
Eligibility
In order to be eligible for this tournament, players must satisfy at least one of the following three criteria
1) Players must have a daily chess rating of 1600 or higher at the start of the tournament
2) Players must have reached at least the semi-finals (round 6) of the open tournament
3) Players must have reached at least the finals of any custom position tournament I have hosted
These entry restrictions will ensure a competitive event with plenty of rich and exciting games!
