This is a "No Vacation" tournament!
I will award the winners of each group in round three a one-month Diamond membership here on chess.com!

You will play up to 10 games at a time in this event.

Vacation time is not allowed.
This tournament is designed to create a good competition in the mentioned rating range. The main idea is to have an event where you are as long as possible still in the race for the top 2 spots.
If you like to show your best against an equal, balanced field and have tough and close matches, this is the place to be!
I want to keep away players who try to manipulate the rating down, so they can play in limited events.
For this reason I will remove players from the registration list if their all time high exceeds 2100 or for any other reason when I think a player is too strong for this event.
I will also remove players before the start of the event if their timeout ratio is too high.
I hope you enjoy a competitive tournament, have fun and good luck to all the players!

Removing some players...
Dear chess lovers,
the tournament is about to start in the next days. Today I will screen the players and remove the players who
- have an all time high in rating > 2100
- have a timeout ratio > 3%
Tomorrow I will remove players who did not log into chess.com for more than one week because I want to get a very low timeout ratio in this tournament.
