This is a thematic tournament for players who want to explore chess openings or just have fun. The Zukertort Opening is here for you to learn or enhance your experience with this variation. All games start with:

A continuation shows similarities from popular openings hence most players are likely to find the tournament interesting. This tournament is for fast players with less time/move and fewer vacations. Vacation is allowed but keep it minimal unless you do not have a choice. If possible just make several or at least one move per day to allow others to enjoy the tournament.
Guidelines:
1. If after you register then your rating changes, please register in the next appropriate rating range.
2. There are 5 rating ranges, under-registered rating range may be merged or expanded with other ratings; or the number of maximum players may be adjusted; or the category may be completely deleted where upon you have to re-register in the next relevant category.
3. Players NOT registered in the appropriate range may be deleted, and will be deleted if no factor(s) as viewed by the tournament director favors them to remain in a particular category.
4. The grace period is the last hours before the tournament starts. While some players may be allowed to remain and participate in a specific category despite their ratings, the best and safest way is to register in a proper rating range up until 12 hours before the tournament begins. The start date and time may be adjusted to allow participants the convenience to switch or register properly. If necessary, changes will be made to create a good experience for everyone.
5. There are 5 categories: [900 - 1200]; [1201 - 1500]; [1501 - 1800]; [1801 - 2100]; and [2101+]
6. This tournament is not intended to force anyone to play chess against their interest. All responsibility for your time and the way you have fun playing games is solemnly upon you. You may withdraw at any time. All chess.com rules are expected to apply for games played in this tournament and shall be enforced by chess.com.
7. While you may have fun playing chess and get recognition from other players, there are no prizes or compensation of any kind for participating in this tournament. It is solemnly intended for people who have fun playing chess.
