I am reporting in from the WYCC.
I just finished my last round and won in the World Youth Chess Championships!!!! I tied for first at 9/11 and I am told that the first tiebreak is head-to-head matchup. Since I beat the other kid with 9 that means I get the Gold Medal!!!!
Thanks to all those who helped me out!

Kayden you rock! I have never seen such a chess prodigy before! You are consistent and impressive! You should be very very proud! Well done on 1st place.
Well done, love the flag. I thought that flag worship was a uniquely American custom, but the other guy seems to be wearing one too.
Whoo hoo! The future is bright for U.S. chess!
you are great player! congrats
Fantastic performance !
I would be interested to know what you think were the most deciding factors in this win
Way to go Kayden! Very happy for you!!

great job i new you could do it !
Well done! Congratulations!
USA is the big powerhouse nation in the category of ages 12-13, apparently. And how about those young girls from India? They took home a box full of medals. Apparently Vishy fever has done a lot for that country's chess. It's so impressive that India was able to tie Russia in the medal count, and because of you (and Sam, Cameron and Christopher) the USA also finished in the trophies. What a great team effort!
