Here's a recent training game I played against the computer. This was my first time playing against this particular engine. I wasn't sure how strong it would be so I set the engine strength to 1200. The engine was much weaker than others I've played at that level and I was able to win very easily. I'll increase the engine strength until it becomes a strong opponent for me.
In the game I missed some strong attacking moves that I didn't consider so I need to work on looking for all my forcing moves. I also played too quickly and could have spent more time looking for and calculating candidate moves. I played at a standard tournament time control of (90m+30s)/40+(30m+30s). At the end of the game I had about 50 minutes for 6 moves before the time control. The numbers are time spent on each move, in seconds.
