A game of firsts!

This was an amazing game! It was a game of firsts. The first time I played the Scotch at the 45/45 time control, my first win of my first tournament qualifier, and the first time I ever ended a game in such a fashion! I think you’ll forgive me for not giving you the BLUF (bottom line up front) in this introduction, because in this case, it really is worth the wait!
