Tactical sense is tingling...

I recently completed Emmanuel Neiman’s fine book, Tune Your Chess Tactics Antenna, and so I credit his work for helping me to get better in touch with my tactical sense. I already recognized the signals he wrote about in his book, but I found his examples truly outstanding. It was a real joy to read and I finished it in about two weeks, which is unheard of for a chess book. I usually take a lot longer—if I bother to finish it at all. This was one that I couldn’t put down. It helped me immensely in the following game.
