For instructive purposes, I’d much rather analyze one of my losses than one of my wins, but I do believe there is something to learn from every game played, regardless of the outcome. In this game I learned that I need to work on my technique. I was a ahead most of the game but missed some big chances to put it away. Yucca did a good job of staying in the game, and really made me work for this one. Here is our game:

Thanks for the game Strickland, good example of the offensive use of castling  for one thing and great tactics, constantly testing my safety awareness.  I made so many mistakes here, but that's all part of the process.  Hope to give you a better match in the final round of the Quad.
