      I fully recommend COMPREHENSIVE CHESS ENDINGS CDCONVEKTA AVERBAKH For completeness and explanations it can't be beat. I use it a lot.

     I have had  a 5 volume set known to me as Yuri Averbak's Edgame Series

     for years.  The absolute best.

     Are we talking about the same endgame publication?
