That's a great idea, sticking the vinyl board to the plywood. Did you have any trouble with it? Which glue did you use?
It lays on there really well. It rarely slips any at all. I guess it might be the weight of the pieces mixed with the friction. But, yeah, I never did have to glue it down.
If you do prefer to glue it down, i'd suggest wood glue, probably the gorilla wood glue. But be careful, because I have glued a vinyl board down before, and it can be kinda tricky, because when you put weight on a vinyl board it can stretch a little bit, but it's not too tricky of a job, just a small warning.
