Huzzah! Book has finally come from America. It is called 'Modern Ideas in The Chess Openings' and was a continuation of 'How to win in the Chess Openings.' Same format- underlying explanation and walk through reinforced by a 'chess movie'. Thanks to notmtwain for helping me.

The companion volume to "How to Win in the Chess Openings" was: "Modern Ideas in the Chess Openings." It covered some more openings, in the same style as the first volume. Horowitz also wrote "How to Win in the Middle Game of Chess", and the above-mentioned "How to Win in the Chess Endings." Yeah, I really liked his books, and they were a very enjoyable way to begin at chess—he had an entertaining writing style. 

These four books were all combined into "How to Win at Chess: A Complete Course." It's available used at
