I never change my user name.
if i stumble across the other one i will get back to you, but i dont remember the name any longer. the profile was identical to your current one. and that is one unique profile you have there. no getting that mixed up with another.
weird cause I always crush the ponzaini
yeah after 3...d5 my opponents literally always play exd5 and after Qxd5 I usually go on to win
no one's ever played 4.Qa5 against me lol
Batman how many masters and grandmasters have you played?
But I will say this---goody goody for you ! goody goody for me! goody goody!
little---guin
If your opponents do not play 3. c3 d5 4. Qa5 you are playing people who do not have the slightest clue avbout how to Play the Ponziani.
I know...
40 games played against the Ponianzi
most of them are either d4 or exd5
haven't seen 4.Qa5 once
Funny how so many 1800-1900 level players don't have the slightest clue about how to play their opening lol
(I played 3...f5 a few times but the positions after 4.d4! made me stop that.)
little that is unusual.
After 1. e4 e5 2, Nf3 Nc6 3. c3 f5 4, d4 is good but 4. exf5! is even better. White shouild expect to win vs, 3. c3 f5.
After 4...d5 I at least have something to play for, though 5.d4 probably sinks me.
d4 pushes in e4 e5 games are in general something that I'm weak against. For example the Albin Gambit, which could be considered a "delayed" Ponianzi to some extent, seems to be hard to play against for me, which is strange, because I often play stuff like the Centre Attack and the Max Lange in the Italian, so I should know my way around d4 pushes by now...
It's not "easy win", you should know better than that lol
only openings that are "easy win" is stuff like Duras and Damiano Defense...
There is a club Ponziani Analysis--am sure some would like to join and post their own analysis.
what is a profile?
an account. i have read identical profiles of yours on at least two accounts--unless you changed your username which would also account for it.
