It doesn't seem to be such a big deal, just slightly worse, right? Within the drawing zone

optimiser007

Not a big deal at this stage.. But hope Anand keeps the pressure on

Susan just told us that Anand has the white pieces.

Im rooting for anand to win but games 3 and 5 are games i knew anand can handle very well. The lapses hes showing might be the sign of him getting old and stamina getting weak. I hope he gets back on the match since its still too early to say hes beat up. Right now he once again has the slightest of advantage but can he still convert that into a win? I hope he does. Carlsen was amazing at game 3 in defending a very difficult position  and so was anand in game 4. Go Anand!

I'm learning something about how to move knights around the board.

Very sharp play by Anand (Move 16 Game 6)

optimiser007

does Anand have a chance of winning this game?

rooperi

uh oh. Engame going into magus territory again. Small advantage for black.

However, to me, the game seems less "lively", I'm not sure there are too many tricks out there.

Of couse, within minutes, I'll be proved wrong :)

I like how Susan Polgar pronounces the "w" with a "v" sound. Very sexy!

Also, what happened to Tania Sachdev, did she get "the boot?"

Susan Polgar is easy on the eyes, but my God she talks a lot.

(Guess that's sort of her job as a commentator though...)

Is amazing how a five-time world champion like Anand, can find himslf in trouble in the simplest positions. Carlsen is incredible.

Regrettably, she's just in Delhi for a few days and will be back later.

About what castling is and how the Knight moves :s

Looks like Anand is looking for the least complicated way to draw?

Carlsen won a pawn!

Appreciate the way Gupta is explaining the main ideas here. I wouldn't have had a clue. Frown

If Magnus wins this, he deserves the title, in my opinion. He is simply outplaying Anand. My feeling however is that Anand knows that this is a draw and just plans to find the right moves.

If Anand loses here the press conference will be a bit torturous for him.

I cant believe it but at the 45th move same as game 5 Anand is in danger of giving away the game. Is it the rook endgame where anand is weak or is he just forcing the game out of a draw.?
