Nakamura's would say:
1...any
2. Qh5
Hope that helps Andy.
It might, were I able to fathom it.
I can't even furlong it.

Does he play Qh5 a lot? I have only seen one game of his. that was against Kramnik that he won by underpromoting and it was brilliant.

Obviously I know that's not true just becuase he doesn't play that against everything, this is just humorous for all of you troll's imformation, nothing to troll. So, without further adue... Not true, it would be 2. Qh5+ if 1... f6 or 1... f5 and it would be 2. Qxh5 after 1... h5.

You suck up humor like a dry sponge on steroids.
No! It would be 2. Qh5....NO MATTER WHAT.
(Even if Nakamura was giving you queen odds)

Nakamura said in an interview it was "best by test".

Not in serious tournaments. Quite a bit though.
But the best player of our club who is 2100 or something got paired with
Naka with Black at some open tournament (Cap d'Adge ?), prepared for 1.e4 e5 2.Qh5, and faced it (and lost miserably). As he says "when you prepare for that stuff, all the games in the database it's him".
Go Naka. I think he should try that opening against Carlsen or better, against Wang Hao(Carlsen having unfair advantage!!). He has horrible record agaisnt those two.
lol
I just noticed that in turn-based play when you make a checkmating move (but before you hit the SUBMIT button), the # sign comes up on the moves record.
Can't this be construed as giving that player a hint?
I know! I use that to make sure it's checkmate. I never thought of it as cheating.
Aha! Another angle whereby it may be construed as "giving a hint."
If someone says that they will win a chess game against me, I consider that a hint and probably a case cheating.
Sorry, I was just making joke which failed
I did that once, and now everyone thinks I want people to resign when they are down in material. However, in order to avoid embarrasing them all, I have to keep up the pretense.
Dear Doggy_Style,
I just ran accross the "Call Me Al" video you posted. Thank you. Thank you! I hadn't seen it in a long time, and it brought back memories, warmed my heart, tickled my fancy, and made me chortle quite loudly. You truly have Excellent taste in music videos!
Oh, and to pay lip service to "following the thread," let me state the following:
I'm Opposed to Hints of Any Kind at Any Time. That's why I always tell the youngsters -- "Don't beat around the bush!" -- "Come Out with it!" -- "Speak up, Son!! Ah say, ah say, Speak up!!" ... also, "I Am Sick and Tired of all this Mealy-Mouthed Business!" and "Why don't you just Go Ahead and Say what you Mean?! -- dammit!"
Sincerely,
A Grateful Admirer, MIL
I think Carlsen's computer will give hint like.....
