Reasons I Get Angry When Playing Chess Online

I don't get angry playing chess, first of all, but I was in another thread and thought about this silly list post. So for those of you who say you enjoy my list posts, here we go.

  1. My mouse keeps sticking so all I can do is castle.
  2. Cheater_1 keeps sending me e-mails about his Gameboy genius.
  3. King_William's avatars that change every few hours distract me, and I open with the Boungcloud accidentally.
  4. I lose so often.
  5. Nobody understands that if they will let me win, my rating will increase. Why don't they get that?
  6. When I'm playing Queenie, I just keep staring at those bags in her avatar and wondering what she bought. Very distracting.
  7. I still have an old 8-inch CRT monitor. The pieces are so tiny.
  8. Sometimes my iPhone will let me play, sometimes it won't. It's like my second wife if my first wife minded me playing, which she does not.
  9. Not being able to blame every single one of my loses on power failure.
  10. When I win...never mind. That's so rare.
  11. Not being able to turn the table upside down and scream, "Imposter!" I flipped my monitor over once. Not the same effect.
  12. Erik will not implement Star Trek 3D chess. Loser.
  13. I like to play with my ChessMaster 3D glasses on, but once again, Erik won't go 3D for me.
  14. Everyone calls the horsey a knight. That's just silly. It's a horsey: look at it!
  15. Rook? I beg to differ. Salt and pepper shakers, thank you.
  16. Everyone says "castling". Rooking? Salt shaking? Nevermind...
  17. I can't keep track of opponents whose member names are like "uEir8972&". What's that about?
  18. Cheater_1 keeps beating me with his Atari. It must be better than the Sega Chess game I'm using to cheat on him. Darn.
  19. I play turnbased, instead of live, so it takes me longer to lose, thereby granting my emotions time to recover from one loss to the next. However, people actually make moves in intervals faster than every 3 days, the default. So my plan is flawed.
  20. Time posting stupid list posts are taking away from my chess study, but I may have a small addiction to posting silly topics. Is this a disease? If so, I'm not to blame and will share no responsibility with the universe for my actions. I'm a victim.

Now post yours.

That is all.

When people are about to lose and they keep offering draw after draw. They then exclaim that you are a sore loser for not accepting their draw.

Yeah, a friend of mine had that happen once. In fact, that same friend offered me a draw when he began to lose. I just remembered that! LOL

Stacy, permission to use "salt and pepper shakers" when talking about rooks at my local club? E.g, Yeah, you could take that pawn but then he gets his salt and pepper shakers to the 7th.

That happens to me often on playchess.com, often times being called worse than "sore loser", but to date has not happened once here on chess.com.  The excuse I was given by one guy was that the mouse slipped and he dropped the piece on the wrong square.  In blitz chess that does happen, but I still don't give draws because I don't offer draws when it happens to me.

Yeah, that Erik is lame for giving us this free site and then having the audacity to take the site offline for a couple of minutes a month to improve it, for us, for free. Shame on Erik. Shame.

My opponent's queen may ocassionally feel the need to cheat on him with my king, but my king, being a loyal man, tries to refuse, and would give up many men of his army to keep the opponent's queen away from him; nevertheless, as all men know, the woman gets what she wants. The opponent's queen often cheats on her husband with me! I don't like this: I have to either improve my methods of keeping these horny queens away from me or I have to be around kings whose wives aren't very effective at getting near my king. This is one case in which I'd rather not have women jumping all over me!
