What are the best openings?

Yeah but ruy lopez has lots of theory

At your current level, openings are irrelevant, and studying them is a loss of precious time.
Practice tactics, tactics... and more tactics.

I agree with Mazetosklo, but would add that you should pay attention to basic opening principles like quick development of pieces and control of the center.

Don't worry about openings being theory-heavy. Even if you don't know much of the theory as a noob, chances are your opponent doesn't either. Ultimately, it evens out. However, playing openings where there's an obvious mistake that most noobs would play can be a good idea. The Scotch Game and Vienna Gambit are good examples of this.
