I really feel proud to win a game in this line of moves. Please comment your suggestion about this win, where he actually went wrong and where i missed a better move.

This is my analysis of your game. Please note that I am only an 1200-1350 player.

I think you showed great inititive in your match and dominated your opponent from start to finish. Good luck in your future chess games.Smile

I played this in just 3 mins time. I have seen a grand prix game before and I liked it very much. But the problem is that there are so much moves to remember, and slight variation from opposition will get ME into trouble. I dont know why, all recent games I played people are coming with f4. So am forced to try this. d6 is a real suprise if for fast games, because low rated players like us either underestimate the move or is thrown offbalance. THANX for the analysis

I would have liked to have seen 15. ... Rg8 16. Qxh6 gxh6 17. Rxg8#. Other than that, the idea of rushing your kingside pawns is of course nice, although I think you started pushing them too early and your opponent just let things crash into his position. Just a simple 9. ... exf4 would slow down your attack a bit. Even 9. ... Qc7 and 10. ... O-O-O would just make those white kingside pawns look like you could have used all those tempi for development.

Which is pretty much the reason why the grand prix attack move order is more accurate with 2. Nc3 and 3. f4.

Young Kramnik played 1 e4 c5 2 f4 d5 3 d3 dxe4 4 dxe4 Qxd1+ 5 Kxd1 and earned great praise by Botvinnik for it.
For the adventurous: 1 e4 c5 2 f4 d5 3 Nf3 dxe4 4 Ne5/Ng5 leads to a reverse Budapest Gambit with the extra move f4.
Indeed 2 Nc3 and 3 f4 is more careful.
