Seems like the opponents cell phone wasn't turned off and he got a call, so no moves were made. So, not as is before editing ...

Here let me help you with your apparent technical problems:

You did beat a titled player.

My theory is that he zoned out after winning the piece.

Hey Frank, I'm working on the analysis right now!

aggressivesociopath

I spent some time on 35...Qxb4 and concluded that 36. Bxe5 dxe5 37. Rd1+ Bd6 38. Rxd6+ Qxd6 39. Qxb7+ Qc7 40. Qb2 Rd3 is hopeless. 36. Rd1 is too slow 36...Rb3 37. Bxe5 Rb1 I really don't see another idea.

I am a noob in chess but the game was good

CoolTo: mebelanana,

It would be much appreciated if you could outline the reasons, as to why it was not a deserving win. It would also help me to identify my weakness and positional play which needs improving.

Pardon for the long time to review. Been busy.

Firstly, CONGRATS for making quite an amazing comeback against an almost overwhelming opponent (even if by rating alone, let alone titled luminary.) What is a little puzzling for me with Black are his 36th and 37th move??  Why did he not take your bishop right away and the queen move was not the most effective one available to black.

Still I commend you for your persistence to hit a home run despite being down on both material and especially position. Surely not your best win but in this one your fighting spirit had gone further than most others' would have, and it paid off big time. Hats off gentlemen, for Frank.

To:- whiterthansnow,

On 37th move, if his bishop takes my bishop, my rook will check and eventually checkmate his king.I had no other move. If I could not check his king, then I will surely succumb to his next move.

My sincere appreciation for your kind and encouraging words of support.

My, pardon my embarassing oversight.
