smothered and prevented

My opponent smothered me in the first game, and prevented me from getting my pieces out in the second game. Please comment freely on my mistakes. This is the only way I'm going to learn.

hmm, I annotated my moves but for some reason they didn't save. Please provide as much annotation and criticism as you can; I can take criticism, and I will play over and respond to every one of your suggestions.

[COMMENT DELETED] tried to repost with annotations but they're not saving...

I've not the time to work on this, but just a general tip :
DON'T LET PAWN HANGING
please, don't :)
"Pawns are the soul of chess", Philidor.

 And an other :
DEVELOP EVERY PIECE BEFORE PLAYING A PIECE TWICE
(unless there is a tactic)

More depth about certain moves later qhen I have a computer in front of me. Big thing is you trade down when you are losing. The more pieces you have even while down, the better chances you have. I accidentally lost a piece for nothing in a recent game here, moved the wrong piece. But I still won against a 1600....was I lucky? You bet. But I only traded if it was tactical or my position would be better .
