Maybe he's also a mod?
Can a titled player do this!!!!!!!!!????????
Maybe the people that posted have been banned from the site
No, not at all! They're in the Open discussion group right now, talking about how their post suddenly vanish right away, when they disagree with the poster.
If he's the admin of the group, he may have special privilages, or he may just want the group to stay on-topic

He is not an admin of the group. That's why everybody's flabbergasted. The posts were on topic. He just disagreed with them. Besides, he shouldn't be able to delete em, anyway.
I wish I could delete posts in team matches where I super admin. I had a troll (Everyone, even Staff, knows he is an immature person) acting up in one match. My solution? If any of his teams wish to play mine in a team match, they have to ban him from their team! He will find out he really isn't that important after all...LOL

I'll take that to mean no. Maybe he's just friends with one of the group admins.
Maybe the admin agrees with him that the posts are OT or inappropriate. I am always surprised by what people get away with posting on chess.com. Some really vitriolic attacks, many times racist and offensive.

Honestly, their posts were not bad, or off topic at all. They just made good counter points against what the OP stated.
The only people that can delete posts if they are staff or moderators or they can edit the posts and put their own comments, it is possible for a titled player to be a mod or a staff member.

He's not a staff member, and we've already discussed the mod stuff.
Delete posts in their threads that they don't like. I didn't think so, but it seems to be happening in the Open Discussion group.
