Good question. I've never tried a cbh book. Could be worth a go. Anyone else tried one?
Chess books in .cbh format

I use this format a lot. I find it especially useful to go through opening books, or anything that's analyses heavy, with lots of variations, because I also have to focus so much on moving the pieces correctly that I don't learn much from the game. The other advantage is that in my life, I have to travel a lot, and this format allows me to take tons of books with me in digital format on my laptop, where I normally would only have room for one. It's super fun and easy.
I've had my eye on a chess book that I want to buy and I noticed recently that it is also available in cbh format which means it can be downloaded and read through chessbase, fritz etc.
I've never tried this format and wondered if anyone else had. I find it difficult to follow "normal" paper chess books as I concentrate so hard on moving the pieces to the correct squares I lose the thread of the variation. Would I be right in thinking this format would be easier as the moves can be made just with a tap of a button automatically on the chess software? Or does it have other drawbacks?
Any advice welcome. Thanks.
