Batgirl is a pretentious bibliophile without proper satisfactory recreation, thereby provoking the incapacity to maintain logical exchange, averting the most productive environments, and therefore is unable to deviate from excessive binding self-allurement.

Lately I came across a saying by Lasker which goes like this, "On the chessboard lies and hypocrisy do not survive long. The creative combination lays bare the presumption of lies; the merciless fact, culmination in checkmate, contradicts the hypocrites.".

Do you have any idea what does it even mean in general? And only then:
1. What are the "lies"?
2. What is the "presumption of lies"?
3. What is "the merciless fact" and why does it "contradict the hypocrites"?

Thank you in advance for your answers!

That quote is in Laskers manual of chess.

What he means by it is, that unlike life, in chess, trying to lie your way out of something wont work, trying to be a hypcrite wont work, you leave yourself exposed on the chess board.

Have I offended you in some way?

No, S B C, continue reading up on the history of chess.

Now you can brag about being a "history of chess" nerd.

For someone without a problem with me, you certainly seem to have a massive chip on your shoulder. I hope you're able to resolve your issue.

Thank you.

Great quote! That's one of the things I like about chess--it is at it's core faultlessly and mathematically logical. There is an honesty about it you can't find in real life. The player with a better understanding of the game wins (if he in fact plays to his full potential against such an opponent).

KillTheHorsie

Could he have meant what Roger Clemens meant when he (the baseball player) said, "It is what it is."?
