Players disconnecting when facing loss
This thread is steadily getting nonsensical. Get through this trash talk.
Agreed.
How do you know they came from these countries?
Stalking is legal in those countries
Why did I click on this? I know the bullshit that comes out of doing so. Perhaps I am attracted to these kinds of posts because they make me feel smarter. Perhaps I am more foolish than the op for even considering that I would have something useful to say after five pages have already been posted on.
I think that's a guilty verdict without any proof. I have been disconnected twice this week in games where I certainly was not losing. Just now during a 10 minute game I got an error box pop up in Firefox that said something about https:// ...? mookie1 and code 82. It locked up firefox and timed me out. I have never seen this before so I think it's chess.com's fault, not mine, or that of my bt router or the bt network. And earlier in the week I got a "connecting" problem and the spinning dice, or whatever that was, right when I was making a good move!
So do not jump to conclusions about bloody disconnects!
It's your firefox to blame. Don't you notice regular ads popping up on the screen when you are visiting sites? There's some real idiotic plugins installed in your firefox. Go to Options => Plugins and remove all the plugins which you haven't personally installed on intent. The shady ones have names like GoSave ... BestDeals and other creepy names like these.
The one good thing about chess.com threads is that they do not harm the environment. They wouldn't even be fit to print on used jax paper.
Why do I have to see such threads every other day? Gosh.
Because it amuses the originators to stir up arguments and trouble. This one has come up many times, as you have observed.
