The time keeps on going on because you are playing against your opponent.. If your pc freezes time will not freeze or lag... The best is to fix your internet connection :)*

I was playing a game of chess here and i noticed my time was going down too fast ie my time went from 16 seconds straight to 8 seconds and i lost cause of time penalty so i am wondering if this is because i had lag and whatnot but i want to know why this happened
