I think each side needs to have played about 5 or more moves in order to get a rating change.
Outdated: Won 2 games on time and rating did not go up.
Bob, my comment is anything is possible on this rating system. I have seen crazy things. a while ago i won a game against a player 50 points ahead of me and my rating went up 82 points. 2 weeks ago in a 10 game span I won 7 lost 1 with 2 draws and gained 2 points.......so right there i decided to just take it for what it is. A good faith effort with many variables to rank a large membership. My rating is over inflated right now for many reasons which i won't bore you with here. When i evaluate my growth i look at 2 things 1) take my average opponent percentage and measure won loss record above and below that 2) I assume that over a 30 day period my rating will stabilize.....I can live with the rating system assuming that 1) rules seem the same for everyone 2) once everyone plays a certain number of games it seems to have some merit
plus it sure gives us something to chirp about.....
Most important Have Fun!!

I won 2 games on time and my rating did not go up. The games were rated. The oponite only took one move. Not sure if that would have done it.
Is this normal. You can check out my profile to see.
