Being muted for no reason?

Hey, I was on live chess in my game chat talking with a guy, and out of no where it said I was muted for 30 minutes. all I said was "I hated my java programming class, it pissed me off." I guess the word "pissed" set it off? I don't know, but it was taken out of the wrong context if that's what it muted me for. Can someone tell me what the deal is? btw I've never been muted before, because I don't talk stupid junk on there like some people do. Thanks for the help

Yeah, you can get flagged for that. Believe me, you're one of countless disgruntled rants that pop up on the forums about the live chat moderation. Sorry you had to learn the hard way, but everyone must be 'wholesome' when it comes to live chat.

Is probably done by a auto-moderator so watch what your saying next time.

You can discover this list by typing dodgy things in LiveChess.

I think that the word hate triggered the mute. I will dispense you for the reason.

just don't say stuff like that in live chess. it's not worth it.

if you don't like the rules here, then this might not be the right chess website for you.

Look at the bright side, at  least most conversations happen in complete sentences rather than in teh 1337s where u git triforced aftr u dun goof'd.

I was having a conversation with a guy, it wasn't directed at anyone. I wasn't being hateful to anyone. made no sense to me

I also lerned about auto-moderation the hard way.  I used a colloquial term that is perfectly acceptable here in New Zealand, (its even used in TV advertising), but the moderation didn't like it and gave me a warning for unacceptable language.  However other terms that are marginal here, but apparently acceptable in USA are allowed.  Obviously the moderation isn't truely international.

You have triggered a moderator bot that takes action whenever it sees a word on its list. This shouldn't happen if you were talking to a friend, the bot is turned off by default in that case.
