Yeah, for some reason the diagram was not posting properly.  The diagram was displaying more than it should.  :)  I didn't want a anything on a2 but I think it still works ok.  :)

This was a puzzle that I just made up.  :)  I find that it is easier to make these puzzles working backwards.  Of course, the longer the mate then the harder it is.  :)

Also note that 2 Bxd2 is not as fast as 2 Qg3+ because of 2...Kf4 and there is no mate on move 3.  :)

A very well planned sequence, I think checkmating with a pawn, really pisses people off so I do it when I can.

My note for 1 Qg8 said:

The threat is 2 Qg8#. Notice the knight on f5 is pinned.

I made a typo.  :)  The threat is 2 Qg3#.  :)
