    Crack this..
There are 1000 people standing in a circle, with numbers printed on their shirts(consecutive numbers from 1 to 1000). number 1 has a sword. He kills the 2nd and gives it to num 3. 3 kills 4 and passes the sword to 5. This process continues until there is only one person remaining. Can u tell what's that person's number ?

Hmm... so the first 500 killed are even, the 250 killed are every second odd, the 125 killed are every fourth odd... This is confusing me. And then the 62 killed are every sixth odd + 1. I'm out. I'm just guessing it has to be 2expx multiplied by x minus 1 (No, I actually did some calculations.). IT must be... 513
