Just posting some observations from a frustrated computer user...

I have always used Internet Explorer on this site (and all others), as downloading and taking up more memory on my hardrive would likely mean major heart surgery would be required. Recently, however, my sister downloaded Safari with no consequences for the poor computer that I have noticed (so farUndecided). I began using that as my program for using the internet.

I have no complaints with the faster loading speed, however, there has been issues in other aspects. In many of the "live" features here on chess.com (Live chess, tactics trainer, computer workout) Safari will freeze up with the only recovery method being restarting the computer. Has anyone else had these issues, and, if so, how did you fix it?

B.t.w I have switched back to IE for the time being.

Safari works well for me with most features of this website, but there are a few exceptions. I can't access Chess.com email with it. And I also have noticed some minor problems with Game Explorer with it. When I switch to Firefox I don't have the same problems. (Although I have found on other websites that Firefox has its glitches, too.)

Safari doesn't work right when editing your Blog on Chess.com, either. It keeps inserting unwanted spaces and codes. You go in to clean up some, and it adds new ones somewhere else. Firefox doesn't do that, but the italics feature doesn't work right in Firefox; you can't select something and italicize it. You have to entirely delete it and rewrite.

I just sent an email from Chess.com using Firefox. It appears to have gone through fine.

The space taken up by Firefox is worth it x10^3175890129784.
