Why people reject evolution

I have five senses. If I had 8 or 9 , what would the Universe reveal. If we could not smell or see what would our Universe be? It seems it is revealed to limited senses we have. If we don't have a certain sense how can we know what that is..  we don't or can't know what it would accomplish. A blind man from birth can't know what the color blue is. Do you remember before you were born? No..cause you did not exist. Epileptic people often experience issues with time because everything shuts down until the person returns from the seizure.  A dialation of some sort. As a epileptic myself, times rolls on for everyone else. Not for me though because I don't even know I'm alive when having a seizure. Therefore a gap in the senses leaves a segment of life absent. I believe in God and Evolution. Create a big bang with all the right ingredients to create the Universe so that beings with senses exist. Now as we exists the Universe can view and experience itself. So if God created us,maybe we are the eyes of God.

To reject both as ridiculous is to assume that we have no beginning and that the cosmos is an infinite system with no beginning which is, by definition ridiculous. We now know that this is impossible. 1) The universe is expanding from a central point, suggesting a starting position, 2) 1965, Penzious and Wilson found Radiation Afterglow left over from an intial explosion, 3) 1992 the Cobe Space Satelite found Great Galaxy Seeds (look into that significance), and as has already been mentioned, 4) the Second Law of Thermodynamics states that cyclical systems always stay the same or increase when we have found that they universe is actually winding down. All of this proves that our universe is not a closed system and it is not a infinite/revolving process. It must have, instead, had a beginning since Einstiens theory of general relativity says that time, space, and matter must exist at the same time. There was never one without the other. Therefore, whatever caused the beginngin point (call it big bang or whatever) must have been timless, spaceless, and imaterial. We call this God.

So beautifully accurate....Smile....Thank you Patriot !

They haven't taken the time to study it at all. They think that watching a few minute, biased Creationist video that spreads disinformation automatically makes them on par with an Evolutionary Biologist. The older Creationists are almost always too brainwashed to reason with, so it's not even worth your time. + Creationists feel that if evolution is a fact, then "who needs God"?

clockblockerz, you seem to feel persecuted at the mere discussion of evolution, because I don't see how it affects your ability to find solace in prayer.

And yet the irony of your post is that so many believers are so eager to use the bible not only to judge and demean others, but to deny others the same legal rights and dignity that they enjoy. Yes, I am talking about gay marriage, which you so obliquely criticize.

Some people find comfort in prayer, others in marrying the man or woman who they love. Why not live and let live?

Dignity and gay marriage; together??        Pffft!  Undecided

Dignity is universally found in one thing and just one thing only.

....and that thing is money.

And I will argue all day about this one.
