Live chess: slow time controls

I think it would be great if there were more slow time control options given as defaults in live chess. If I choose a 30 minute game I usually find a match in under 5 seconds. If I put in a custom time control like 30/30 or 45/5 I sit there and sit there and sit there. Clearly there are plenty of people who want to play with longer time controls but I think most people just use whatever the default options are. By putting in some longer default time controls it might provide more opportunity for that sort of play. Thank you in advance for considering my suggestion!

I totally agree. Add slow time controls (like 45|45, 90|30 or even 60|05) to the drop down list and you will see much more slow games here.

I'll also point out that there are a wide variety of fast times available but the only "slow" time available is 30/0 - which would be considered rapid chess I believe!
