Vote chess tie-break

Hi,

Rumour has it that tie-breaks in vote chess are now the last move voted, not the first.

If so, I believe this is a good change, as it encourages teams to analyse together and discuss moves before voting.

However, the FAQ still says it's the first vote which counts:

Thanks for your attention.

Have the computer brake the tied vote

  • Example 1

Votes fist to last

  1.  Nc3  2 vote  -1.4 bad vote or trolls votes
  2. 0-0 2 vote +1.5 this one wins
  3. a4 1 vote

  • Example 2

votes fist to last

  1.  a4   1 vote +0.9
  2.  0-0 1 vote +1.3
  3.  Nxd5 1  1 vote +2.6
  4.  Nc6  1 vote +0.7 this one wins

It wouldn't be appropriate to use the computer to break ties:  a cunning but unethical team could vote once for each plausible move, and voila! the opponents are playing vs. the computer.  (Not that it's a very good computer, but still.)

I can confirm that the last move proposed, rather than the first, is now chosen; the FAQ is simply wrong.
