FIDE have published the latest official rating list, and Magnus Carlsen has consolidated his status as the world's #1 rated player.
Carlsen gained 9 rating points to reach a career high of 2835 Elo, a full 30 points clear of new #2 Lev Aronian.

The official FIDE rating list for May 2011 has been published. With the list now being published every two months rather than quarterly, it's more up-to-date but sometimes barely changes.
