Tips On Making And Managing A Club (Part 3: Managing Admins)
Hello everyone!
This is part 3 on Tips On Making And Managing A Club!
Today you are going to be managing admins!!
Let's get right into the topic -
Today you are going to do the fun part of managing a club, or what beginners CALL is fun. That's because it's not as easy as you think! You will have to tell the admins what to do and when to do it. Usually, the best way to make admins work is to write a JOBS forum!
Here is what it might look like, at least - I like to write it that way and it's really helpful!

Your jobs and promotion system doesn't need to be exactly the same, but this can be the basics!
Now you just need to get people to choose a job. First of all, start by inviting you best friends yourself and asking them if they can please invite, you can ask this "Hi! Could you please choose a job in my new club?".
Now that your admins have got jobs, and so do your coordinators, it's time to get them working! You might think that they will be very active all by themselves, but most likely: NO! You will have to manage them all by yourself!
Let's start with the inviting job. If you want to warn an admin that they need to invite more, then contact them via private message. I will also highly recommend a "Minimum Invite Number" which is basically the minimum invite each admin needs to send per day or per week. When asking them to invite, you can say something along the lines of - "Hi! I saw you have been quite inactive in my club these days. Please invite!
". If an admin doesn't do their job for 1 month or more, you should demote them.
Let's go with the forum writing job. I recommend that the minimum forums per week should be 3. If a forum writer doesn't write forums for 3 weeks, demote them. You should give them a warning first if they didn't write for 2 weeks though!
Let's get to the club match( live and daily ) making. The minimum club matches per week should be around 4-5. Club matches are easy to make, so you should ask them to make more when they apply for the job! Demote them if they had been inactive for 2 and a half weeks or more! Give them a warning when they didn't do their job for 1 week.
About the live tournament and daily tournament making, the minimum live tournaments per week must be no less than 5. Believe us, you would rather slow down than have a lazy live tournament maker! These are really hard to get active if you don't know the trick...and about daily tournament making - they should create no less than 2 daily tournaments a week: don't get us wrong, making daily tournaments is not easy, it's just that 1 or 0 daily tournaments a week is to little!
Vote chess making is the 4th most simplest job! You need your vote chess makers to create at least 5-7 vote chess a week. Demote them if they don't work for 1 month. Warn them if they didn't work for 1-3 weeks.
News writer don't have restrictions: they just help write news WHEN IT'S NECESSARY. If it's not necessary, then they don't need to work at all! But quick fact: They must create news at least once a week or something! Because if your club is not dead[ no it's not I guess ], then it will be increasing 10 members a week or so! So every 10 members, there will be a live tournament and a news!![]()
Fact you should know before starting to get big: A lot of the club owners get so proud after they reached 100-500+, that they stop managing all admins and take a huge vacation, all admins don't work, and the club is dead. Don't let this happen to you! This club should NOT be dead no matter how big it is, for example some huge clubs owned by some random people have grown to 10,000+! But they're totally DEAD!!! If you ever grow to such a huge club, do not give up and assume that it's over and that you are the biggest club on Chess.Com! Even if you are, you don't want another club to take your place right? Anyways, too much about this, we will talk about other advanced( or not so advanced yet ) club stuff soon!
