Hi guys,

Welcome back to TOMAMAC!

We will, again, learn how to manage a club. This time, we will further get into how to grow your club.

Let's go.

Section I: Review

If you want to know how to exactly even encourage people to join your club, here's a refresher: You need to click the grey "Invite" button around the top of your club. After that, click on the typing bar, and either paste in some usernames, or type them yourself. Then, click the green "Invite" button that is below the inviting bar. After that, you will get a notification at the top of your screen saying either:

  • "Invitations Sent To [insert number of users successfully invited] Members."
  • "[Insert name of user that are already in the club] Is Already Invited/In The Club."
  • "[Insert name of user that does not accept club invites] Does Not Accept Club Invites."

Section II: More On Inviting

A different way to invite is to scroll down to the "Manage Club" area and find "Invite Members", depending on your device, it might show "Invite People" instead. But they are the same with the "Invite" at the top function. You will get to the same inviting page and paste in usernames or type them. Both works, but in case something malfunctions, you can use the other!

Section III: How To Get People To Accept

You will need to make you club look and feel appealing (like we talked about last time), when you invite, the Public Description will appear in the invite, and they can read it. If they click on "View Homepage" they will get to a page where they are not in the club yet, but they can read whatever you allowed them to. If they click "Join This Club Now", they will automatically be added to the club. A good Public Description is very key and important. If it isn't good, like we mentioned before, than they won't get attracted to the club. Like, having rude words, bad typos, or other things like that will get annoying/offending to the club viewers, so make the description tidy and neat.

Section IV: What If They Don't Accept

Remember that not everyone accepts invites. So don't push anyone to join. But you can ask!

Section V: When They Join

Let's say you were lucky or just smart enough to get people to join your club. What should you do after that? First, simply welcome them. Next, you can get along with them, like add them as a friend, or just Private Message them "Thank you for joining my club!" or something like that. If they start chatting, you can offer them a job in return for a position. If they agree, wow! You got a new person to take care of your club! Just remember, though, that you should always be on the lookout for new and unfamiliar admins, so that you can keep your club safe.
