Tips On Making And Managing A Club (Part 8: Super Admin Management)
Hello everyone. Back to TOMAMAC.
So, have you gotten a few Super Admins? Sometimes they can be pretty useful, but there are some things that you might want to be careful about.
Section I: Why do I need to know this?
Knowing how to manage Super Admins are crucial for keeping your club good. I mean, not all Super Admins are bad, of course, but the thing is - some Super Admins (SAs for short) can go wild, might not work properly, or have some issues that you need to be careful about.
Section II: Super Admin going wild!
Oh no, did any of your SAs go wild? That's no good. They can kick, ban, mute, demote good admins, promote bad people, and just about anything you imagine (except recking you or your club, but they can cause serious damage). To control that, it's just about the same as the bad admin situation. Do all steps mentioned in that blog here as well. However, it's less simple than that. To ban the bad SA, you'll have to DEMOTE them FIRST, BEFORE banning them. If you were so unlucky to get a few SAs going wild, just repeat the steps - but do that quick!
Section III: Super Admin not working properly
Sometimes, SAs are very useful. They manage of the club, make sure members are abiding by the laws in the club, etc. But, some Super Admins actually just sit in the position and don't do anything. Some pretend to work by saying that they are keeping an eye on the members, but as I already told a few parts before, making a "Guard" admin OR super admin is not helpful. They usually go inactive pretty quick. So, it's best to avoid "Guard" admins or super admins. Instead, if they are not doing their job like inviting, all I can say is to demote them. It's the best way. Try making them admin and messaging them.
Section IV: Super Admin issue?
Is there some sort of problem/issue/"bug" with your super admin? Well, in that case, it might get weird. First off, if a super admin is doing something strange, like starting fights, or creating useless things, annoying people to no end, or other things like that, that might be an "issue" with the super admin. If they are demoting people without letting you know, and you might not even notice until the demoted guy tells you, that may be a "bug" with the super admin. If they are changing something about your forums, etc., then that could be a "problem" with that super admin. If you notice these signs, don't hesitate to ask, clarify, and demote if needed.
That's it for today's blog. I hope you enjoyed it, see you next time.
