Chess Diary 08.21.2021. English-Meran opening

Today in the night I reviewed my openings and then played a game. My opponent played the English opening. I played a Meran setup. He delayed d4. I used a lot of time, because it was new for me. It became very sharp. He sacrificed his queen. I defended well and got a winning position, but because I was low on time I could not convert. I started to play quickly and flipped the time situation and won on time!
