Daily Calculation Exercises - Day 101 | Pirc attack and rook endgames

I created 10 new exercises. I analyzed 2 games from this week's Titled Tuesday Tourney, a sharp Pirc game and a Catalan with an interesting rook endgame.

1. How can white react to the pawn advance?

2. How should black react to the aggressive c2-c4 move?

3. This is why c6 is necessary

4. How should black continue the attack?

5. How can white get an advantage?

6. How can black keep the balance? Please use 2-5 minutes!

7. How should white keep the advantage? Please use 2-5 minutes!

8. How can black save the game? Please use 5-10 minutes!

9. How should black react to Kb4?

10. How can white win? Please use 2-5 minutes!

You can replay the games with my notes:

I wish you enjoyed the exercises. Please use the patterns in your games!

If you would like to improve your calculation I suggest you 2 great courses:

Tactics Ninja: Something unbelievable and funny. The editor Lily, being 1,200 on chess.com, raised her online rating by 100 points in 2 weeks, just by looking through the videos of this course when she was editing them.

Mating Matador: Mastering mating patterns is the next step to get better at tactics and become a dangerous attacker. It often bridges the gap between a strong attack against the opponent's King and victory. So once you become better at sniffing checkmates, your attacking skills naturally improve.
